About Course
Chapman’s Reflexes are a system of neurolymphatic points that let you find the muscles a body has turned down, and switch them back on. Paula Nutting has taught the method in the classroom for years. This is that course, online and self-paced, so you can work through it between clients. Six modules take you from the theory to the whole body, region by region: glutes, psoas and hamstrings; the lateral and posterior lines; abdominals, jaw and pelvic floor; the lower limb; then the thoracic spine and shoulder. Every technique is demonstrated on video and shown again as it looks in the clinic, with a quiz at the end of each module.
What you’ll be able to do
- Test a muscle and tell weakness from tightness
- Locate the Chapman’s reflex points for each region, and activate them
- Recognise a defence pattern and follow it along the myofascial meridians
- Decide what to treat first, and what to reassess next visit
Who it’s for
Remedial and massage therapists, students and new graduates, and practitioners in complementary health who work with muscle imbalance. You don’t need any prior Chapman’s training. Exercise prescription isn’t covered, which keeps the course inside a massage therapist’s scope of practice.
